Abstract
The main purpose of the present study was to compare the current management practices of boys and girls degree colleges of AJ and K. The study was descriptive in nature, and the cross-sectional survey was used for the collection of data. Seventy principals and 140 teachers of the Mirpur Division were the populations of this study, out of which 50principals (23 male and 27 female) and 100 teachers (46 male and54 female) were selected as a sample of the study using proportionate stratified random sample technique. A questionnaire on the five-point Likert Scale was developed to collect data from principals and teachers. The researcher visited the sample colleges and collected the data. The data was analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, and independent-sample t-test. It was found that that male principals and coordinators are better at the planning of different programs than females.Furthermore, female principals and coordinators are performing better in directing the staff as compared to male principals and coordinators.
